Neptune may be considered a legendary beast, but when compared to other legendaries such as Lugia, Ho-oh, or Mewtwo, Neptune is considered an average Pokémon.  Neptune serves as the main water guy.  He has a strong special defense, so he can pay back double damage to electric types who try to take him out.  With his Mirror Coat, Neptune can deliver a nasty surprise to opponents.
