Adeas is my new electric type.  He has proved to be reliable, but his speed is a bit low.  At least he compensates with his Thunder Wave ability.  It took me some time to realize how versatile he was, being able to learn Fire Punch for the grass types.  Unfortunately, Adeas doesn't have any real moves to counter the ground types.  He can only protect himself with Reflect.
