My Typhlosion is named Andros.  I got him by borrowing my brother's Typhlosion and having it produce an offspring for me.  So Andros is actually the son of my brother's Silver starting Pokémon.  Andros has proven to be very, very versatile with a variety of attacks to take on different types.  Because he uses Thunderpunch to take on water types, he is a great risk taker.  He also takes on ground/rock types, which also present an advantage against him.  Andros works well with Mathis and Adeas to win the battles.
