Fulgore is the name of a Zapdos.  I named it Fulgore after a cyborg with all kinds of laser powers in a game called Killer Instinct.  I named all three legendary birds after Killer Instinct fighters, and I figured Fulgore would be the best name for this particular bird.

I find Fulgore to be a reliable Pokémon because he's an electric type who's immune to ground attacks.  If he does happen to be pitted against a ground-type opponent, his only resource is Drill Peck, which is a good move.  It only has a standard effect on the ground Pokémon, but it's his best chance....unless the ground Pokémon also happens to be a rock type.
